Head of Offsite and Strategic Growth

I've been recruiting within the Offsite Construction sector since 2013 and I absolutely love it!

I'm currently Head of Offsite and Strategic Growth in Bristol, leading the Offsite specialism within our Construction brand and overseeing the Professional recruitment side of the business – which is pretty much the perfect role for me.

Over the years, I've built up a wealth of experience across both traditional and Offsite construction, including modular, timber frame and steel structures. I've been responsible for recruiting Construction and Offsite Manufacturing professionals for high-profile projects on an international scale, successfully placing candidates across the UK as well as Asia, New Zealand, Australia and the Middle East.

I'm proud to have built a personal network of more than 100,000 Offsite-specific contacts, including some of the leading companies, professionals and thought leaders in the sector. I tend to adopt modern recruitment techniques and keep a close eye on the latest candidate attraction methods, particularly when it comes to social media.

I wouldn't consider myself a traditional recruiter. I genuinely love the construction industry and make a point of continually developing my knowledge by learning from my clients, candidates and industry thought leaders. I'm always interested in the latest developments, innovations and niche projects shaping traditional and Offsite construction, both in the UK and overseas.

I get a real kick out of networking with my candidates and clients. The better I understand a business and the people within the industry, the better I can match the right person with the right opportunity.

I came to Thorn Baker because they share my passion for the construction sector. Get me out on site, touring a manufacturing facility or attending an industry event and I'm in my element!

Most of my spare time is taken up looking after my twin boys (I know, brutal!). I'm also a massive fan of live music, and you'll find me at plenty of rock and punk festivals throughout the year. I box to keep fit and relieve the stresses of life too – it's brilliant!
