Home to three specialist brands, Thorn Baker Construction, Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment and Thorn Baker Facilities Management - Thorn Baker Group brings over 38 years of recruitment expertise to clients across the UK.

Established in 1988, we’ve built our reputation on more than just filling roles. We’ve invested heavily in the infrastructure behind it - combining experienced people with robust systems, advanced technology, and dedicated in-house support teams across payroll, audit & compliance, marketing, finance, and IT.

This means every placement we make is backed by a process designed to stand up to scrutiny - not just deliver on the day.

Our approach gives our brands the flexibility to operate at pace, while maintaining the control, visibility, and compliance standards our clients, and candidates, rely on. From right-to-work checks and payroll accuracy to supply chain transparency, we take responsibility for getting it right.

Because in today’s market, it’s not just about finding people — it’s about how those people are supplied, paid, and managed.

So, why work with us?

Our clients and candidates trust us to make things easier, safer, and more reliable - and that comes from combining decades of know-how with the systems and support to deliver it consistently.

From immediate temp cover to permanent hires, we’re here to help you get it right - get in touch.
