Position: Site Manager
Project: New Build Starbucks Drive Thru
Location: Newark
Duration: 18 Weeks (Fixed-Term Contract)
Start Date: 16/3/2026
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Site Manager to oversee the construction of a new-build Starbucks Drive Thru. This is a fast-paced 18‑week programme requiring a manager with a proven track record delivering retail, roadside, or branded hospitality units from groundworks through to successful handover.
You will be responsible for day-to-day site operations, health & safety, programme management, and ensuring the project is completed on time, on budget, and to brand specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all on-site activities throughout the full project lifecycle
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel
- Ensure compliance with Starbucks' brand standards and client expectations
- Maintain and enforce all Health & Safety procedures
- Monitor build programme, address deviations, and report progress
- Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular inspections
- Manage quality control and ensure works are delivered to specification
- Liaise with the client, design team, and project manager
- Oversee site documentation, RAMS, daily diaries, and handover packs
Experience & Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Manager within construction
- Strong background in fast-track retail, hospitality, or drive-thru projects
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black/White), and First Aid at Work
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage tight programmes and fast-paced environments
- Strong understanding of groundworks, steel frame, M&E coordination, and fit-out sequencing
