The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee the commercial and financial management of fit out projects from tender stage through to final account. Duties include:

  • Managing the full commercial lifecycle of fit out projects
  • Preparing accurate cost plans, BOQs, valuations, and CVRs
  • Leading procurement and subcontractor management
  • Ensuring robust cost control and maximising profitability
  • Assessing variations, claims, and negotiating final accounts
  • Working closely with project managers and site teams to ensure smooth delivery
  • Maintaining strong client relationships and representing the business professionally

About You

We're looking for someone who brings both technical competence and a practical understanding of the fast‑paced fit out environment.

You should have:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the fit out industry (office, retail, commercial, CAT A/CAT B ideal)
  • Strong commercial awareness and contract knowledge (JCT preferred)
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused approach
  • Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
