Thorn Baker are working with a multi award winning modular building company who are looking for a Head of Operations to join their team as a result of growth and increase in demand. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual to take their career to the next level at one of the UK leading modular companies who are financially stable with a very strong order book well into 2024. This role would suit someone with experience of both main building and/or modular hire.

About You:

• HND or Degree Level in Construction preferred.
• Highly numerate.
• Contractually and commercially aware. Having detailed knowledge of the terms of JCT D&B and NEC3 forms of contract is important.
• The successful candidate would preferably have a minimum 5 years' experience in an equal / similar role, from within a Design and Build, Modular or Main Contracting background.

The Role:

• To oversee the effective delivery of all projects to time, quality and cost.
• To take direct responsibility for Project Management and coordination
• To provide leadership and direction to the Operations team in the safe storage, refurbishment and preparation of fleet to service project delivery
• Ensure Health and Safety on all schemes is at an exemplary level with zero harm culture in place.
