Title: Electrical Estimator

Thorn Baker are working with a reputable electrical contractor who are looking for an Electrical Estimator in Darlington as a result of an increase in demand for their services.

About you:

• Must be able to work individually and within a team environment

• Strong communication skills
• IT Proficient
• Estimating experience with the electrical sector
• Fully qualified Estimator

Your responsibilities:

• Work out the value and quantity of materials needed for each project
• Determine the amount of labour required for every project
• Consider the profitability of each project to support management in making decisions
• Suggest solutions to increase profitability for projects
• Ensure cost databases are updates regularly to reflect variance in costs for both materials and labour
• Evaluating labour and material costs
• Carry out site surveys when required
