Thorn Baker has teamed up with a family-run joinery manufacturer, with an outstanding reputation and nearly 35 years of joinery heritage. They are looking for an Construction Graduateto join their Commercial team and support them with their growth in demand.

Your Responsibilities:

• Support the Senior Estimators and the Commercial Director
• Managing and coordinating all aspects of tenders
• From initial enquiry and qualifying job specific information
• Through to breaking down the project once secured to give the factory the allowances to manufacture
• Responsible for liaising with customers and sales members to understand their requirements
• Assisting with producing competitive estimates

Required Skills:

• Strong typing and numerical skills with the ability to interpret data / read technical drawings
• Proactive and goal-driven team player
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, and preferably Joinery Soft /Staircon/ Smartsheet
• Minimum 5 GCSE Qualifications, preferably higher qualifications and / or CSCS Carpentry & Joinery City and Guilds
• Clean UK driving license
• Previous work as a Joiner or Carpenter, site fixer or CADwould be an advantage
