A leading housing developer is seeking a Trainee Contracts Manager to oversee new build housing projects in the West Midlands. The ideal candidate will currently hold a Senior Site Manager or Project Manager position with a PLC developer and is looking to progress to the next level.

Job Duties:

• Manage and oversee new build housing projects from inception to completion
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Coordinate with various stakeholders including contractors, suppliers, and internal teams
• Monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Required Qualifications:

• SMSTS certification
• CSCS certification
• First Aid certification
• NVQ Level 6 or equivalent
• Valid Driving Licence

Education and Experience:

• Previous experience in PLC house building projects
• Demonstrated experience in Senior Site Management or Project Management roles

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of construction project management processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and motivate teams
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Working Conditions:

• Office-based work with frequent site visits
• Travel within the West Midlands region required
