Job Title:Technical Co-ordinator
Location:Birmingham
Thorn Baker's Award-Winning client is looking for a Technical Co-ordinator to join their team. Your Responsibilities:
- Obtaining Technical Drawings and approvals to enable efficient site starts.
- Brief, manage and drive the external consultants in the preparation and issue of production information to an agreed programme, fee and scope.
- Assist in the preparation of Design Programmes with an ability to present at Progression Meetings.
- Ensure all statutory enquiries, sewer connections and other relevant legal agreements are submitted and pursued for timely completion.
- Oversee the NHBC/Building Regulations applications to approval.
- Ensure that working drawings are in accordance with the approved Planning Scheme and ensure discharge of planning and building control conditions. To monitor and control all production information in close liaison with the Commercial Department to ensure tight cost controls are kept and information produced in line with budget estimates.

Required Skills:
- Previous experience in Residential Housing sector
- Proficient in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control regulatory approvals including all section agreements (section 38 & section 104 designs)
- Full Current UK Driving Licence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively liaise and co-ordinate activities between departments
- Project management and supervision skills,with strong attention to detail
- Ability to confidently challenge decisions made by others
- Proficient in MS Office programmes
