Your duties would include:

• Dealing with goods inwards.
• Safety checks on FLT’s being used, completing report(s).
• Locating stock within the warehouse.
• Handling stock and moving around the warehouse for replenishment.
• Stamping billets with precision and accuracy.
• Order picking as required, either FLT or manual picking.
• Please note, this is a labour-intensive position and heavy lifting is required.
• FLT licence / experience is advantageous for this role.

The ideal candidate would look like:

• (Full training will be given for this role, so experience isn’t essential)
• The right candidate will be someone looking for long-term work, who is reliable and committed, and has a solid work history.
• Previous experience order picking / using a picking system
• Looking for a settled career
• Job hoppers will not be considered.

Hours and pay:

• Rotational shifts, week A & B
• Week A: 6am-3pm Mon-Thu / 6am-10pm Fri
• Week B: 1:30pm-10pm Mon-Thu / 9am-1pm Fri
• £12.64ph starting rate, overtime at increased rates 
• Increased rate can be discussed for heavily experienced candidates
