Job Title: Site Manager – Office Fit-Out

Location: Sheffield City Centre
Rate: £290 per day
Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday
Start Date: Immediate

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee a commercial office fit-out project located in Sheffield City Centre. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, organisation, and compliance with health and safety standards. Immediate start available for the right candidate.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Managing day-to-day operations on site to ensure the project runs on time and to budget.
Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
Overseeing quality control, site safety, and adherence to specifications.
Conducting site inductions and ensuring all workers are briefed on safety protocols.
Monitoring progress and reporting to the project manager/client.
Resolving on-site issues and maintaining clear communication across all teams.
Enforcing fire safety, first aid, and emergency procedures in line with regulations.
Completing and maintaining site paperwork, RAMS, and daily diaries.

Requirements:

Black CSCS Card (essential).
SSSTS certification (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme – essential).
First Aid at Work qualification (essential).
Fire Marshal certification (essential).
Proven experience managing commercial fit-out projects, preferably office environments.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage subcontractors and multi-trade teams effectively.
