Job Title: Site Manager

Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, South Yorkshire, Sheffield

Job Type: Permanent, expected to work full-time hours Monday to Friday

Primary Industry: Construction, House Building, New Build Housing

Salary: £58,000 - £65,000 per annum

Qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, NVQ Level 6 or equivalent, Full UK Driving Licence

A growing and established Housing Developer based in Sheffield is seeking a Site Manager / Senior Site Manager for a new project consisting of traditional houses. The company is expanding its team due to several new and exciting projects starting up in the South Yorkshire region.

Job Duties:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations on the construction site
  • Ensure that health and safety regulations are strictly followed
  • Manage subcontractors and coordinate work schedules
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within budget
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, NVQ Level 6 or equivalent
  • Full UK Driving Licence


Prior permanent experience in site management with a housing developer.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of construction processes and NHBC regulations
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload effectively
