A National Developer is seeking a Site Manager for a timber frame new build housing site in Coventry, offering up to £280 per day. This is an immediate start with ongoing work.

Job Duties:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations on the construction site
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors and tradespeople
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Monitor progress and quality of work
  • Manage site budgets and timelines

Required Qualifications:

  • SMSTS certification
  • CSCS card
  • Valid First Aid certification
  • Driving Licence

Education:

Relevant construction-related qualification

Experience:

Prior experience in a Site Manager role for Housing Developer

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of high volume housing construction
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and make quick decisions
  • Proficient in project management and budgeting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Further construction-related certifications
  • Experience working with timber frame construction

Working Conditions:

This role involves working on a construction site, which may include exposure to various weather conditions and physical demands. The Site Manager should be prepared to work full-time hours and be flexible with their schedule to meet project deadlines.
