Job Title: Site Manager

Location: West Midlands, Coventry

Job Type: Contract (Full-Time)

Primary Industry: Construction - New build housing

Salary: £250 - £280 Per day

Qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Driving Licence

Skills: Experience in new build housing

Company Description: A small and bespoke housing developer is seeking a Site Manager to provide cover on a site in Coventry. The project involves the construction of traditional new build homes.

Job Duties:

  • Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and vendors
  • Monitor project progress and quality of work
  • Communicate with project stakeholders and provide regular updates

Required Qualifications:

  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
  • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card
  • Valid First Aid certification
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Working Conditions:

  • On-site presence required, with potential for extended hours as needed
  • Exposure to various weather conditions and construction hazards
  • Frequent communication with team members, subcontractors, and clients
