Job Title: Site Manager

Location: East Midlands, Leicestershire

Job Type: Permanent, expected to work full-time hours Monday to Friday

Primary Industry: Construction, House Building, New Build Housing

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum

Benefits: Bonus scheme, car allowance or company car, private pension scheme, private healthcare, life insurance, additional benefits

Qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Scaffold, Driving Licence, NVQ Level 6

Skills: Traditional house building, Knowledge of NHBC regulations

A reputable housing developer is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a traditional project in the East Midlands. The company is well-known for its high-quality homes, standards, and sustainability focus. This role offers the opportunity for progression to Senior Site Manager within 2 years.

Job Duties:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the construction site
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
  • Maintain quality control and project timelines
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders
  • Manage site budget and resources efficiently

Required Qualifications:

  • SMSTS certification
  • CSCS card
  • First Aid certification
  • Scaffold qualification
  • Valid Driving Licence
  • NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years Site Management experience with a housing developer.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proven experience in traditional house building
  • Familiarity with NHBC regulations and standards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
