Overview

We are seeking a Repair Technician to join our client`s team in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and maintaining electrical appliances, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. This role requires someone with technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain a variety of electrical appliances using hand tools
• Read and interpret system diagrams to analyse and troubleshoot faults
• Manage improvements as needed
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Adhere to strict electrical safety regulations and guidelines, ensuring compliance at all times

Skills & Experience

• Good eye for detail & experience or interest in DIY or electrical repairs (ESSENTIAL)
• Proven experience in electrical appliance repair and maintenance (DESIRABLE)
• Good understanding of electrical circuits and systems (DESIRABLE)
• Proficient in fault finding and diagnostic techniques (DESIRABLE)
• Experience in using a variety of hand tools
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Commitment to upholding safety standards and best practices

Day-to-day

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical appliances
• Communicating with customers to understand and address repair needs
• Maintaining a clean and organized workshop environment
• Collaborating with team members to improve repair processes and efficiency
• Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment
