Recycling Operatives Wanted – Immediate Start | New Whittington

Are you someone who enjoys hands-on, outdoor work? Looking for a Monday to Friday position with an immediate start? Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is hiring Recycling Operatives for a well-established client in the New Whittington area of Sheffield.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing team in the waste management and recycling sector — helping to make a real difference to the environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Sorting and manually picking recyclable materials

• Separating and moving various types of waste around the site

• Removing larger or bulk items by hand

• Maintaining high health and safety standards at all times

• Working efficiently and accurately in an outdoor environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Physically fit and comfortable with active, repetitive work

• Reliable and able to follow instructions and site training

• Great team player with a positive attitude

• Must have own transport, motorbike, or push bike (due to site location)

Hours & Pay:

• Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 4:00pm

• Pay rate: £12.21 per hour

• Overtime available and paid at a premium rate
