Purchase Ledger Clerk
Location: Darley Dale, Matlock
Hours: Part-time – 2 days per week, 9am–5pm
Salary: £28,000 per annum (pro rata)
Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team in Darley Dale, Matlock. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and a good understanding of accounting processes who’s looking for a part-time, permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input and process purchase invoices

  • Match, batch and code invoices

  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve invoice queries

  • Send invoices for approval and ensure timely authorisation

  • Generate supplier statements and regular financial reports

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date ledger records using Sage 50

About You:

  • Previous experience in a similar Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable role

  • Strong working knowledge of Sage 50

  • Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy

  • Good communication and organisational skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car (due to rural location)
