Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in Dronfield. We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Press Operative to join their team in a long-term, full-time role.

Key Responsibilities

Operate industrial press machinery safely and efficiently
Perform regular quality checks and basic maintenance
Follow all health and safety procedures
Keep accurate production records and report any issues
Work effectively as part of a small, dedicated team

Shifts & Hours

You will rotate weekly between day and night shifts:

Day Shift

Monday to Thursday: 05:45 - 17:45
Paid for 49 hours per week

Night Shift

Monday to Thursday (finishing Friday morning): 17:45 - 05:45
Paid for 57 hours per week

All hours are paid at £12.21 per hour

Requirements

Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory setting is desirable but not essential
Physically fit and comfortable in a hands-on, industrial environment
Good timekeeping and reliability are essential
Willingness to work rotating shifts
