Painter & Decorator – Bedford 

We are currently seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator to join our team on a refurbishment project in Bedford . This role is ideal for a skilled and detail-oriented professional who can work efficiently in a clean, safety-sensitive environment, including live or semi-live hospital settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting (sanding, filling, priming)

• Apply emulsion, gloss, undercoat, and specialist coatings

• Deliver high-quality finishing on walls, ceilings, woodwork, and trims

• Protect surrounding areas and maintain a tidy workspace

• Adhere strictly to site health & safety procedures

• Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades to meet deadlines

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator on commercial or institutional projects

• Valid CSCS card

• Own tools, brushes, rollers, and full PPE

• Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship

• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude

• Ability to work respectfully in sensitive environments such as hospitals
