Onboarding Coordinator

Job description

We're looking for a highly organised and enthusiastic Onboarding Coordinator to join my client's team in Coalvile. This newly created, full-time position is key to providing a smooth and professional onboarding experience for all new starters - both permanent employees and agency staff.

Key Details:

  • Pay Rate: £13.33 per hour

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00

  • Location: Coalvile, Bardon

  • Job Type: Full-time, ongoing


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate onboarding for new hires across the site

  • Prepare and issue welcome packs and induction materials

  • Ensure PPE and equipment are ready ahead of start dates

  • Support system access setup (IT logins, timekeeping, training platforms)

  • Update and maintain induction and training records

  • Lead day-one orientations and factory tours

  • Liaise with HR, recruitment, and operations teams

  • Manage compliance checks (right to work, H&S)

  • Track feedback and suggest improvements

  • Provide administrative support with contracts and policies


What We're Looking For:

Essential:

  • Previous coordination/admin experience (HR/recruitment/training preferred)

  • Excellent organisation and time management

  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing setting

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and in a team

Desirable:

  • Experience in manufacturing or construction environments

  • Familiarity with HR/onboarding systems

  • First Aid or Health & Safety training (or willingness to train)
