We are recruiting on behalf of our client in the Ilkeston area for a highly experienced Machinist to join their team in a heavy-duty industrial environment.

Hours & Pay:

• Rotating Days & Afternoons:

• Days: 7:00am - 3:30pm (Monday - Thursday) / 7:00am - 2:30pm (Friday) - £13.19 per hour
• Afternoons: 1:30pm - 10:00pm (Monday - Friday) - £15.07

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating and setting machinery

• Performing routine maintenance  checks and reporting faults

• Working from technical drawings and specifications

• Adapting to different machining tasks based on production needs

• Supporting team tar gets and maintaining high levels of productivity

Requirements:

• Extensive hands-on machinist experience is essential

• Ability to work in a dirty, noisy, heavy-duty environment

• Reliable, punctual and able to work rotating shifts

• Strong attention to details
