Logistics Coordinator/Technician 

Location: Tysley, Birmingham, UK |  Shifts: Wed: 10am - 6pm, Thurs: 9am - 9pm, Fri: 8am - 7pm, Sat: 8am - 1pm 
Salary: £12.60 per hour (rising after 12 weeks) 

Thorn Baker is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our growing team in Birmingham. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented and efficient individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You'll be responsible for managing shipments, coordinating with suppliers and couriers, and ensuring smooth logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments, liaising with suppliers, couriers, and internal teams

• Track and update the status of incoming and outgoing deliveries

• Manage shipping, receiving, and inventory control

• Maintain accurate records and contribute to KPI reporting

• Handle discrepancies and process invoices/POs

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel

• A positive, solutions-oriented approach and the ability to work both independently and within a team
