Job Title: Joiner – 2nd Fix Works (Hospitality Suite)
Location: Sunderland
Rate: £23.00 per hour
Start Date: Tuesday Start
Working Hours: 07:30 - 17:30 

Job Overview:

We are looking for skilled and reliable Joiners to carry out high-quality 2nd fix joinery work on a new hospitality suite project in Sunderland. The role involves detailed finishing work including installing doors, skirting boards, and other final fixings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fitting internal doors, door frames, ironmongery, and architraves

• Installing skirting boards, trims, and decorative finishes

• Carrying out all aspects of 2nd fix carpentry to a high standard

• Reading and interpreting drawings and site instructions

• Using a full range of hand and power tools safely and accurately

• Ensuring clean, tidy, and professional finishes in a high-profile environment

• Communicating with site supervisors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently

• Maintaining good housekeeping and following all health & safety procedures

Requirements:

• Proven experience in 2nd fix joinery, especially in commercial or hospitality settings

• Valid CSCS Card

• Own full tool kit and PPE

• Strong attention to detail and pride in high-end finishing work

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

• Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious
