Job Title: Handyman (Carpet Tack Strip Installation & Painting)

Pay Rate: £18.50 CIS 

About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Handyman to support ongoing works across office fit-out and refurbishment projects. The role will primarily involve installing carpet tack strips and carrying out painting and decorating works to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation of carpet tack strips (gripper rods)
• Surface preparation including sanding, filling, and making good
• Painting walls, ceilings, and woodwork
• Maintaining clean and tidy work areas
• Supporting site team with general handyman duties as required

Requirements:

• Proven experience in carpet fitting prep (tack strip installation essential)
• Strong painting and decorating skills
• Own basic tools and PPE
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Good attention to detail and finish quality
• Reliable, punctual, and professional

Preferred:

• Experience working on office fit-out or commercial projects
• Valid CSCS card
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
