Thorn Baker industrial recruitment are working in partnership with our client in Forest Town, to recruit a General Production Operative. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who has previous experience working on an automated production line and is eager to work in a busy environment.

The Job:

• Working on an automated production line
• Machine minding to maximise production and minimise stoppage time.
• Strip down and cleaning machines.
• Working in confined spaces.
• Temp to Perm position.

About You:

• Experience working on an automated production line.
• Computer minded and able to grasp new systems.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces.
• Willing to work weekly rotating day and night shifts.
• Counterbalance license desirable but not essential.

Hours and pay:

Standard rate

Days £12.82 per hour

Nights £14.65 per hour

Overtime rate

Days £17.16 per hour   

Nights £19.90 per hour  

Rotating day and night shifts (weekly) - 49 Hour week - Monday to Thursday                                                        

6:00am – 6:15pm Days                                                  

6:00pm – 6:15am Nights

First 40 hours paid at standard rate anything over 40 hours paid at overtime rate.
