Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for Furniture Manufacturer to work for a Furniture company in Loughborough . This role will be for 3 months with scope to extend past 3 months depending on work
The company provide furniture to various clients which can be student accommodations and care-homes, this role will be mainly in the workshop but you will be required to visit sites to fit the furniture.

The Job:-

• Monday to Friday with some occasional Saturdays depending on work loads
• Hours are either 7am- 4pm or 8am till 5pm, 8 hour shifts (on occasion some days will be longer if working in another city)
• Assembly of furniture to a high standard of accuracy
• Use of hand tools for assembly
• Can use a saw for machining the material
• £15 per hour

About you:

• Proven experience in furniture manufacturing preferably
• Able to use hand tools
• Articulate and methodical
• Physically able to lift and move finished furniture/load vans. Our furniture is very heavy so must be strong
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Good eye for detail
• Enthusiasm for furniture assembly
• Drivers license

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift (on occasion some days will be longer if working in another city)
• Day shift
