Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for an experienced Forklift Driver with manufacturing/warehouse experience to work for a manufacturing company based in Whetstone, Leicester..

Job Details:

Working as a materials handler which is mainly using a variety of forklift trucks around the production facility

You will be locating and relocating equipment, productions and other materials around their site - available forklifts include counterbalance and bendi/flexi

You will be responsible for ensuring production lines have sufficient materials and will be removing them once complete

Taking and signing for deliveries

Ensuring efficient warehouse operation and stock taking, labelling products and strapping of pallets

There may be times where you could be asked to work in manufacturing areas

The job will be 60% forklift and 40% other duties

You will be working rotating shift pattern which is Monday to Friday 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm

Pay is depending on your forklift experience

If just Counterbalance, it is £13ph plus £1.25ph shift allowance

If you have Bendi/Flexi aswell, it is £14ph plus £1.25 shift allowance

They will train you on bendi after a period of time

About you:

• Forklift certificate - experience in driving counterbalance as a minimum
• Bendi/Flexi certificate aswell would be perfect
• Experience in working within either a manufacturing/warehouse environment
• Happy to work rotating shift patterns
• Basic literacy and numeracy
• Able to use computers to check stock and input data
