Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are seeking an experienced FLT Driver to support our Goods In and Dispatch operations at a busy, well-established site in Chesterfield.

If you have forklift truck driving experience (Counterbalance and/or Reach) and want a long-term, stable role in a positive team environment, this could be the right opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate FLT (Reach and/or Counterbalance) to load, unload and move metal stock (around 40% of your shift)
• Manually pack and stamp billets, assisting with general warehouse duties (around 60% of your shift)
• Receive, check, and store incoming goods accurately
• Pick and prepare customer orders for dispatch
• Maintain a safe, tidy and efficient warehouse environment

What You’ll Need

• Experience operating a forklift truck
• Previous experience in Goods In, Dispatch or Warehouse work
• Attention to detail and a reliable, team-focused approach
• Confidence using scanners or basic IT systems

Hours & Pay

Pay: £13.27 per hour + overtime (x1.5 weekdays, x2 Saturdays, double time Sundays/Bank Holidays)
Shifts: Rotating – Early (6:00am–2:30pm) & Mid (9:30am–5:00pm)
