Thorn Baker Construction is looking for an ECITB Firewatcher in Banbury.

The role:

• Act as a Firewatcher on site, monitoring all hot works and ensuring work is carried out safely at all times
• Maintain a constant watch for fire hazards during and after hot works operations
• Ensure all safety procedures, permits, and site rules are followed
• Work in accordance with risk assessments and carry out your own where required
• Communicate effectively with site management and operatives to maintain a safe working environment
• Keep work areas clear of hazards and report any issues immediately
• Support site teams with general duties when required by the site agent or manager

About you:

• Must hold a valid ECITB Firewatcher qualification/card
• Must be able to provide two relevant commercial references
• Strong awareness of health and safety on site
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Reliable, vigilant, and able to always follow site procedures
