Job Title: Contracts Manager

Location:

Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours Monday to Friday

Construction - Small works (Commercial new build and refurbishment)

Salary:

£68000 - £72000 Per annum

NVQ Level 6 or 7, Driving Licence, SMSTS

A Leading Contractor is expanding their small project team this year and is looking for a Contracts Manager to join their Worcester office.

Job Duties:

  • Oversee between 3-5 projects and site teams
  • Manage contracts, including negotiating terms and conditions
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Monitor project progress and report on key metrics
  • Resolve any issues or disputes that may arise during the project
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practises

Required Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 6 or 7 in a relevant field
  • Valid Driving Licence
  • Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certification

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a contracts management role managing refurbishment or commercial projects.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of construction contracts and regulations
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in project management software
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities

 

Working Conditions:

This role will primarily be based in the Worcestershire office but may require travel to project sites within the West Midlands.
