Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are working with a well-established manufacturer based in Derbyshire to recruit a CNC Operator to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced CNC machinist to join a growing and supportive company. We're looking for someone who has previously worked in a CNC machining environment and is confident in operating machinery and interpreting technical drawings.

The role:

• Operating CNC cutting and milling machines

• Around 50% computer-based work and 50% hands-on physical operation

• Reading and working from technical drawings

• Performing basic maintenance and machine checks

• Supporting production targets in a safe, efficient manner

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience with CNC machining (milling, turning, or cutting) is essential

• Comfortable using computer systems as part of machine operation

• A hands-on, detail-oriented approach to work

• A reliable and proactive attitude

• Willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• £12.64 - £13.70 per hour, based on experience
