Job Title: Bricklayer / Renderer
Location: Blackburn
Pay Rate: £23 per hour 
Start Date: Monday 

Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Bricklayer / Renderer to join our team on a project based in Blackburn. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing exterior surfaces and applying a variety of render finishes to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare exterior surfaces (brick, block, concrete, insulation boards) for rendering.
• Apply various types of render finishes (e.g., sand and cement, monocouche, silicone, acrylic, lime-based renders).
• Use hand tools and/or spray equipment for application, depending on the render type.
• Ensure all work is completed to specification, with attention to detail and surface finish.
• Mix materials to the correct ratios and consistency.
• Protect surrounding areas with sheeting and masking before application.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
• Work at height using scaffolding, ladders, or platforms as required.
• Perform post-job clean-up and waste removal.
• Collaborate with site supervisors, contractors, and other trades on-site.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in rendering, plastering, or external finishing.

• Strong knowledge of materials, tools, and application techniques.

• CSCS card preferred.

• Own tools and PPE required.

• Reliable, professional, and able to work to deadlines.
