Job Title:Assistant Site Manager
Location:Edinburgh

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join an award-winning company on their timber frame new build housing site. Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage overall project delivery from inception to practical completion.
  • Manage and liaise with both internal staff and external sub-contractors to ensure a smooth process.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing for all staff and visitors.
  • Identify concerns with processes, methods, or data and contribute to the development of company-wide solutions, bearing the customer needs in mind.
  • Proactively check all facilities during works for damage and report to management.

Required Skills:

  • Experience of working within the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of construction/house-build processes and safety regulations.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances on site.
  • Be educated to SCQF level 6 or have relevant construction related skills and experience.
  • Valid SMSTS, First Aid at Work and CSCS card is desirable.
  • Hold a full UK driving license as flexibility to travel to sites/offices will be required.
