Job Title: Assistant Site Manager

Location: East Midlands, Nottinghamshire, Bingham

Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm.

Salary: £40000 - £47000 Per annum

Company Branding: An Award Winning Housing developer is looking for an experienced Assistant Site Manager for an exciting traditional project in Nottingham. They have an established team on site and can offer a progression opportunity to Site Manager within 12-16 months.

This company has a strong pipeline of work, with this Nottingham site finishing in 2 years' time, there is a brand new project to move on to afterwards also in Nottingham.

Job Duties:

  • Assist the Site Manager in overseeing the construction site
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and tradespeople
  • Monitor progress and quality of work on site
  • Assist with the management of site personnel
  • Conduct regular site inspections

Required Qualifications:

  • SMSTS qualification
  • CSCS qualification
  • First Aid certification
  • Full UK Driving Licence


  • Previous experience in house building
  • Experience in traditional new build housing projects
  • Experience in a management role

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Excellent management skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
