Job Title: Assistant Site Manager

Permanent, expected to work full-time hours Monday to Friday

£40,000 - £47,000 per annum

An established Housing Developer based in Northampton is looking for an ambitious and quality-focused Assistant Site Manager to join a new development.

Job Duties:

  • Assist the Site Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations on the construction site
  • Ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and construction workers
  • Implement and enforce health and safety regulations
  • Monitor and report on progress to the Site Manager

Required Qualifications:

  • SMSTS certification
  • CSCS certification
  • First Aid certification
  • NVQ Level 4 in Construction or related field
  • Full UK Driving Licence


Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience in PLC House Building
  • Knowledge of NHBC regulations
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional health and safety certifications
  • Project management qualifications
