Permanent, full-time hours Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm

£46,000 - £52,000 per annum

A growing Award Winning Housing Developer is seeking an Assistant Site Manager for a new site in Newark, Nottinghamshire. This role offers a salary of up to £52,000 plus a generous benefits package with the potential for progression to Site Manager within 12-16 months.

Job Duties:

  • Assist the Site Manager in overseeing all on-site operations
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers
  • Monitor progress and quality of work on site
  • Assist in scheduling and managing site activities

Required Qualifications:

  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
  • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
  • First Aid certification
  • Scaffold certification
  • Valid Driving Licence

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Previous experience in an Assistant Site Manager role for a housing developer
  • Strong knowledge of high volume house building processes
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions:

  • On-site presence required
  • May involve working in varying weather conditions
  • Potential travel to different construction sites to cover
