Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for an experienced Acrylic Supervisor to work for an established Point of Sale manufacturer based in Leicester

This position is a straight permanent position

The Job:

• Working Monday to Friday 8am-5pm with a 4pm finish on a Friday
• Salary is £30,000 - 35,000 based on your experience
• You will play an active role on the shop floor with the assembly team
• Support and lead your team to ensure outputs and target are achieved
• Monitor output per hour to meet and exceed output targets
• Ensure labour is effectively utilised at all times (including minimising overtime)
• Chase finished parts from other departments
• Assemble and sign off first off's ready for production
• Setting production lines
• Setting producing timings and ensuring timing run rates are met
• Chasing the warehouse to ensure items arrive in time to meet deadlines
• Ensuring that jobs are carried out as expected and within the time frames expected
• Ensuring that all relevant paperwork is up to date
• 28 days holiday per year plus Christmas shut-down and a day off on your birthday

About You:

• Previous experience within the POS industry is desirable
• Previous supervisor or team leader experience is required
• Good attention to detail
• Be able to deal with any disciplinary matters that arise
• Good time management
• Able to demonstrate a problem solving mentality
• Strong communication skills
• Flexible as overtime will be available and occasionally shifts required based on projects
• Carry out other duties as required
