Business Manager
I’m a Business Manager at Thorn Baker with 13 years’ experience in recruitment and eight years in leadership roles. Over that time, I’ve successfully managed both temporary and permanent desks and led high-performing blue- and white-collar teams. That breadth of experience has given me a strong, practical understanding of workforce needs across a wide range of industries and project environments.
In my role, I lead our Leeds based Trades, Labour & Fit-Out recruitment team, supplying skilled professionals to main contracting and fit-out projects nationwide. I’m passionate about building trusted, long-term partnerships with clients and making sure every project is supported by reliable, high-quality people who genuinely add value on site.
I get a real kick out of client satisfaction, team success and developing people. Seeing my team grow in confidence, hit their goals and consistently exceed expectations is what drives me - all while ensuring our clients feel supported, confident and genuinely looked after.
Outside of work, I’m a proud mum of two and currently taking golf lessons, putting my competitive edge to the test as I tackle a brand-new challenge.
