We are looking for an experienced Wood Assembly Operative/Joiner to work for a design manufacturing company based in Old Dalby, LE14 area of Leicestershire

These positions are on an ongoing basis and could become permanent for the right people

The Job:

• Day Shift  Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
• You will be helping to manufacture and assemble wooden display stands and plinths
• Using machinery to cut wood to size and then using tools to assemble them to client specs
• Hand assembly work
• May include operating basic tools or machines
• This can include power tools, router table, hand router and using nail guns to assemble podiums and MDF structure
• Good working conditions
• Salary is between £13ph and £15ph depending on project and type of person needed

About you:

• Previous wood work experience - as machinist, carpenter, timber, assembly operative etc
• Experience in operating machines and various tools is required
• Have access to own transport due to location of the job
• Happy to work in a workshop - this is not a site job
