Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse, production and refurbishment facility in Chesterfield.

This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term, ongoing work with a well-established business. We're looking for reliable candidates with previous experience in warehouse, production, manufacturing, packing or refurbishment environments.

Warehouse Operative Duties:

• Removing labels from products ready for shot blasting and refurbishment
• Filling, testing and preparing products for rework
• Carrying out pressure testing and quality control inspections
• Painting and finishing refurbished products
• Packing, repacking and preparing orders for dispatch
• Stock organisation and general warehouse duties
• Loading and unloading products (up to 15kg)
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

Warehouse Operative Requirements:

• Previous warehouse, production, manufacturing, refurbishment or packing experience
• Good attention to detail with a focus on quality
• Comfortable with manual handling and lifting up to 15kg
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently and within a team
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude

Hours & Pay:

• £12.71 per hour
• Monday – Wednesday: 14:15 – 22:45
• Thursday: 13:30 – 21:30
• Friday: 08:30 – 16:30

No weekend work.
