Transport & Operations Coordinator

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for an Operations & Transport Coordinator to work for a local company based in Leicester

This is available on a temp to perm basis

The Job:

  • Working Monday to Friday 10am-6pm with 60 minute unpaid lunch break
  • It is 35 hours per week
  • Job is on a temp to perm basis
  • Salary is £25.2k pa
  • Duties will include:
    • Produce and administrator all necessary paperwork for the warehouse pick and pack operation
    • To oversee and administrate their Transport Management system
    • To monitor order acknowledgements 
    • Update courier portals with outgoing delivery information
    • Assist & collate various reports, data for essential daily and weekly compliance
    • General administration duties

About You:

  • Proven experience in a transport environment
  • Previous experience with Transport Management Systems although training will be provided 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent administration skills
  • Able to work on a temp to perm basis
