Job Title: Retrofit Site Manager

Location: West Midlands, Wolverhampton

Job Type: Contract (Full-Time Monday to Friday)

Day rate: £250 - £280 Per day

Job Description

Thorn Baker are looking for a Site Manager for a retrofit project in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the retrofit project on site, ensuring it is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Job Duties

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of the retrofit project on site
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Monitor progress and quality of work
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
• CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
• First Aid certification
• Asbestos Awareness training
• Full UK driving licence

Experience, Knowledge and Skills

At least 2 years of experience in site management within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practises. Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in retrofit projects
• Additional health and safety certifications
• Project management qualification

Working Conditions

The role involves working on a construction site in Wolverhampton. Full-time hours are expected, with the possibility of overtime.
