Permanent Opportunity - Soft Services Operations Manager - South West - £40,000 - £45,000

About your role and the company. 

You will be working in a regional role looking after around 20 client sites in  Bristol , Exeter and Plymouth and the employees on these sites. Providing an excellent service to the client and having an engaged relationship with the team are very important in this role and you will need to manage your time and diary effectively to ensure this is happening every week. The company are looking for an experienced Account Manager / Area Manager within soft services that is looking for the next step in their career ,the coaching and mentoring you will receive from the Director will be priceless and due to the nature of the contract and the business will see you progress within the company with the right attitude and work ethic. 

You will be responsible for the overall performance of the contract with full accountability for contractual performance against KPI's and SLA's as well as working to agreed budgets and efficiencies, This role is one where you will be leading from the front and not a position where you will be able to hide away in an office. If you are solution focussed and enjoy being client facing this role will be for you. You will need to have a willingness to go the extra mile and be highly experienced in service delivery - striving to meet and where possible exceed SLAs on the contract you're running.

Three main KPI's that you will be measured on 

  • Contract Gross Profit 
  • Client and team satisfaction 
  • Establishment (as many vacancies as possible filled)

Responsible for: 

Recruitment:

  • Interview efficiently for all vacancies
  • Manage on-boarding of new employees 

Mobilisation:

  • Be able to create site specifications and method statements
  • Collaborate with the office team to order necessary chemicals, equipment and uniform
  • Manage TUPE processes where relevant 

Management:

  • Visit every site on a weekly basis to conduct regular quality audits and face to face greeting with client site contact
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly client meetings
  • Complete client SLA/KPI reporting
  • Oversee rotas, holiday planning, payroll (checking hours worked monthly for each employee)
  • Manage day to day operational challenges

Salary 

  • You will receive a basic salary of £40,000 - £45,000 + vehicle expenses 
  • Electric Company vehicle - mileage paid at 18p per mile or use of your own vehicle and mileage paid at 45p per mile.
