POS Assembly Team Leader

Job description

We are looking for an experience POS Team Leader to work for a  retail design manufacturing company based in Leicester

This is a permanent position

The Job:

  • Day Shift  Monday to Friday 7.45am - 5pm
  • You will be working in a production department overseeing a team of operators and agency workers
  • The department will be producing cardboard retail display stands for their clients
  • You will both assist and oversee the work in this department alongside other Team Leaders and the Production Manager
  • You will be required to:
    • Supervise and coordinate production activities
    • Monitor production schedules to ensure orders are completed on time
    • Train new employees on production processes and safety procedures
    • Implement and maintain quality control measures
    • identify areas for process improvement
    • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations
  • Salary is up to £30,366pa/£13.44ph dependant on your level of experience

About you:

  • previous team leading experience would be an advantage
  • Experience in a POS - Point of Sale production or manufacturing job IS REQUIRED
  • Clear communicator with strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage a multicultural team
  • Able to multi task and prioritise effectively
  • Able to work well under pressure to ensure deadlines are met
  • Experience of working towards targets and helping others work towards their targets
  • Display great level of attention to detail
