Packing Operatives

Ilkeston, Derbyshire

Shift: Fulltime, fixed day shift

Working hours: 6 am - 2 pm

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are proud to be working in Cooperation with a major contract packing specialist offering innovative and timely solutions to everyday food and non-food packing challenges.

Pay: £10.42 per hour  

Weekly pay every Friday

What you'll need to do:

• Place bottles/sachets on the machine lines to go through production smoothly, ensuring the product is manufactured correctly with no defects.
• Ensuring product is being filed correctly with no leakage or overflowing of products.
• Manual lifting of shipments is required.
• Observing Health & Safety Rules and keeping the factory clean.
• Bagging and labelling products with product stickers there will be targets you will need to meet.

What candidate are we looking for?

• Candidates with their own transportation
• The ability to prioritise and have an eye for detail.
• Good communication skills – written and verbal.
• The ability to demonstrate great teamwork.
• Break room with full facilities, fridge/microwave etc
• Great team atmosphere
