Flexible starting salary & excellent bonus scheme & benefits
over 1 year ago
Some say that the role of a billing manager is the toughest job in recruitment; at Thorn Baker EFM we believe it is the most fulfilling, with the most variety, challenges and learning opportunities for those who can spin a lot of plates.
Who are Thorn Baker Estates, Facilities and Maintenance?
We're a specialist facilities management and property recruitment brand with all the benefits and quality of a boutique, combined with the structure and support of an established national agency – we think this is the best of both worlds. We believe in following a solid process to get the basics of recruitment right, whilst using our individuality to build successful relationships with our clients and candidates.
Our most recent recruit described our culture as 'an environment where everyone cares about doing it the right way," as well as "mostly grown up, often fun, never dull and where the highs definitely outweigh the lows."
What are we looking for?
We are about to embark on the next stage of our expansion - we’re looking for a Managing Consultant to build on our already successful Building Services permanent placements offering. You’ll be using your natural communication and leadership skills to manage junior consultants, getting the best from them through coaching and development, whilst building your desk within our existing London client base.
What's in it for you?
We offer an excellent commission scheme, designed to help you earn bonus from your very first month – you’ll also benefit from an ‘overhead’ bonus and commission for each consultant you manager. What’s more, we’ll give you all the training, tools and structure you need to become a great billing manager and leader.
You’ll be working for a Sunday Times Best 100 company, which means working with and managing consultants who are engaged, happy and trusted - here’s what you will have to make this role a great fit for your career:
- 4+ years’ experience in permanent or white collar temporary recruitment, ideally in a Facilities Management, Building Services, Technical, Construction or Engineering industry
- A natural willingness to train and develop others
- Great client and candidate networking skills
- Better than average written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow a structure and clear recruitment process
Want to know more? Apply with your CV and our Head of EFM will get in touch to discuss – we’ll be interviewing throughout September, ready to appoint no later than late October – and even sooner for the right person.
