Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Job Description

Location:

Thurmaston, Leicester

Job Type:

Permanent, Full-Time

Salary:

£40,000 - £44,000 per annum

Job Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
• Ensure PPM schedule is adhered to & all relevant documentation is completed
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and repair as needed
• Conduct regular inspections to identify faults and potential problems
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Keep accurate maintenance records
• Collaborate with other team members to improve maintenance processes

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer
• PLC Knowledge, HMI Controls
• 17th/18th Edition
• Mechanical, Pneumatic and Hydraulics
• Relevant engineering qualifications
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years’ post qualification experience working in a fast-paced factory environment.
• You must be qualified to minimum NVQ level 3 - or HND, HNC, ONC, City & Guilds etc. in a relevant subject.

Hours & Shifts:

• 4 shifts on & 4 days off

            12hr shifts

            Four shifts of 6am-6pm / 6pm - 6am
