Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is a specialist Industrial recruitment agency, supplying temporary workers to factories & warehouses in the Nottinghamshire area. We are looking to welcome a new member to an established, profitable team as a labour manager, with a clear path towards becoming a Recruitment Consultant within 12 – 24 months.

We are looking for a new member of the family! We are a team of 5 who spend more time with each other than our real family, so we need someone positive, tenacious and loyal. The role

You will be responsible for ensuring we are hiring the best workers in a very competitive industry. You need to be creative and imaginative to stand out from the crowd and over come the many obstacles that stand in your way. Tenacity will be needed in abundance to bounce back from the many let downs and excuses you will face on a daily basis.

You will need to be passionate about the level of customer service you deliver to our clients and candidates and take pride in your work whilst being heavily targeted. Travelling to clients is required, so you must have a full drivers licence and your own transport.

Later in your role as you transition toward becoming a Recruitment Consultant you will need to demonstrate strong sales ability as you cold call, up sell and conduct business meetings with all levels of hirers. A professional appearance and good communication skills will be essential for this part of the role.

What we have to offer

At Thorn Baker we know the importance of recognition and reward, so the basic salary will be between £18,000 - £21,000 depending upon work experience. Our excellent commission structure = azero-threshold and uncapped bonus scheme from day 1, which means our average OTE is £25,000 - £28,000 for year 1. Average OTE is £30-£35k year 2.
