Joinery Production Manager
Thorn Baker Construction are seeking an experienced Joinery Production Manager to oversee and drive performance within a busy manufacturing workshop. You will be responsible for managing production processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery across all joinery output.
This is a key leadership role, working closely with design, project, and site teams to ensure seamless delivery from workshop to installation
Location: On site - Huddersfield

The Role;
We are seeking an experienced Joinery Production Manager to oversee and drive performance within a busy manufacturing workshop. You will be responsible for managing production processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery across all joinery output.
This is a key leadership role, working closely with design, project, and site teams to ensure seamless delivery from workshop to installation
Key Responsibilities;
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the joinery workshop
- Manage production schedules to meet project deadlines
- Lead, motivate, and develop workshop staff and supervisors
- Ensure all products meet strict quality and finish standards
- Coordinate with design and project teams to resolve technical queries
- Monitor materials, plant, and resource allocation to maximise efficiency
- Implement and maintain health & safety procedures
- Drive continuous improvement across production processes
- Control costs, reduce waste, and improve productivity
Requirements;
- Proven experience as a Joinery Production Manager / Workshop Manager / Manufacturing Manager
- Strong background in bespoke joinery or interior fit-out
- Excellent understanding of production processes, machinery, and materials
- Ability to manage teams in a fast-paced workshop environment
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations within manufacturing
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
